V.PARK LESQUIN

VIRTUO developed a 10,200 m² turnkey temperature-controlled logistics platform for CORNERSTONE in the Lesquin Business Park (59). The warehouse is used by XPO LOGISTICS.
This project was a success in many ways, not only was it certified BREEAM Good, it also helped revitalise a former industrial wasteland and therefore did not consume any agricultural land.
Meanwhile, VIRTUO installed beehives on this site as part of its partnership with UNAF and in support of the “bee as sentinel of the environment” programme.

Project highlights :

– Demolition work began in Q4 2016, with handover to the tenant on 22 November 2017.
– Installation of apiaries spring 2018
– Site inauguration: 15 June 2018
– BREAAM Good level certification: November 2018
