In March 2020, Virtuo delivered the first of 3 buildings – named V.PARK BULLY2 – that will ultimately form the logistics park at Bully-les-Mines (62).
This latest-generation 19,000m² logistics platform is conveniently located on the A21 motorway, northwest of Lens and just 40 km from LILLE. It has been awarded BREEAM VERY GOOD environmental certification.
The 3 buildings, which are speculative developments, are currently being marketed. Black bee hives have also been installed on the V.PARK BULLY-LES-MINES site: Virtuo is committed to protecting the Chimay-Valenciennes black bee.
The Black Bee has survived the ice ages and adapted perfectly to its environment. Hardy, gentle and resistant, it is a tireless forager playing a vital role in the pollination of wild plants…and producing excellent honey. By setting up hives, Virtuo is taking part in the reintroduction and safeguarding of the local ecotype, the Chimay-Valenciennes. The Chimay-Valenciennes ecotype has disappeared from its native lands due to cross-breeding with imported species because of their greater productivity.
