Description
VIRTUO has developed a 153,000 m2 multi-level fulfillment center for AMAZON, on the converted former BA217 military airbase in Brétigny-sur-Orge.
This project is connected to AMAZON’s European network, and designed to house the American e-commerce giant’s latest-generation multi-level robotized logistics. It is also AMAZON’s 6th and largest platform in France (to date) on 3 levels – an outstanding standard for the region. This project is further confirmation of VIRTUO’s ability to develop and manage complex, large-scale projects.
In the background to this exceptional project, VIRTUO stresses that nothing would have been possible without the strong support and implication of the French government and Cœur d’Essonne Agglomération teams. Their role was crucial in getting the American giant on board.
