VIRTUO is developing a 20,300 m² port platform and urban distribution centre on the logistics hub of the Port of Bonneuil-sur-Marne (the second largest river port in Ile-de-France and the second largest multimodal platform in Ile-de-France managed by HAROPA).
This asset is ideally located on the outskirts of Paris, with fast access to the A86 motorway. This central location covers all the logistics routes in the inner suburbs of Paris (very popular with service providers as part of the “last mile” policy).
Construction began in May 2018, with delivery scheduled for Q1 2019.
« By combining pragmatism and aesthetics, construction quality and environmental responsibility, VIRTUO has breathed new life into a former industrial wasteland with this project » says Grégory BLOUIN, Chairman of VIRTUO.
This distribution hub benefits from the port’s infrastructure and services, such as the rail terminal and the river container terminal, which can be used to optimize supply and long-distance or urban loading and unloading. It can also use the natural gas station, the company restaurant or the shuttle and security service.
What’s more, the development will be awarded BREEAM GOOD environmental certification.
Project features :
– Land leased to Ports de Paris (occupancy agreement signed in early September 2016)
– Class A building, latest generation, eco-friendly
– Environmental certification planned.
– Location scenario: 2 site accesses / 3 cells of 6,000 m2/ BLS 500 m2 on ground floor +1.
