APPROACH
Comprehensive CSR strategy
Our CSR approach, drawn up in close collaboration with our employees, is integrated into all the pillars of our business: Governance, HR, Finance, Business Development, Corporate Communications, and more. It is based on a stringent set of methods and partnerships with leading players such as the Union Nationale de l’Apiculture Française (French National Beekeeping Union) and Reforest’Action.
VIRTUO’s strong commitment to sustainable development is reflected in the signature of the Charter of Reciprocal Commitments in 2021 by the French government and members of the Afilog association for the environmental performance of logistics real estate.
Taking concrete action
- Compliance with building standards (LEED, BREEAM, CASBEE, HQE, etc.);
- Installation of photovoltaic panels, rainwater harvesting tanks, LED lighting, solar water heaters, condensing boilers, etc;
- Installation of natural features contributing to biodiversity (vegetable gardens, orchards, beehives, etc.);
- Financing of reforestation projects certified by the French Ministry of Ecological Transition via the Low-Carbon label…
