Construction underway of a 26,525 sq. meter next-generation logistics platform
On Thursday 20 March 2025, Grégory BLOUIN, president of Virtuo Industrial Property, and his teams, along with Julien FREYBURGER, president of the Communauté de Communes Rives de Moselle and 1st vice-president of the Moselle département, Ghislaine MELON, mayor of Ennery and vice-president of the Communauté de Communes, and Gérard BLANCHET, president of Stocklor, gathered to celebrate the symbolic laying of the first tree at V. PARK Ennery, located 14 km north of Metz.
A strategic location at the heart of the Eurotransit hub
V.PARK Ennery is part of the dynamic development of the Grand Est region, at the heart of the Eurotransit hub, the largest industrial and logistics hub in eastern France, covering an area of 7.4 hectares. Already home to well-known companies such as PSA, AGCO, Aldi, Geodis and Kuehne+Nagel, this hub represents a strategic axis for the logistics and industrial sectors. The hub is close to the A4 and A31 interchanges, the port of Thionville-Illange and the region’s main airports, guaranteeing optimum connectivity with France, Europe and the rest of the world.
Julien FREYBURGER, President of the Communauté de Communes Rives de Moselle and 1st Vice-President of the Moselle département, Mayor of Maizières-les Metz.
‘The redevelopment of this major industrial and logistics centre reflects our determination to transform our region by capitalising on what already stands to respond to economic, environmental and land challenges. The logistics project developed by VIRTUO in Ennery is a concrete and emblematic example of this: by revitalising a previously industrialised site, it is part of a sustainable development approach that also promotes job creation and local economic dynamism. With this project, VIRTUO is demonstrating once one more time its expertise and ability to design innovative projects, thus actively contributing to the attractiveness and competitiveness of our region’.
Ghislaine MELON, Mayor of Ennery and Vice-President of the Communauté de Communes Rives de Moselle.
‘We are proud to welcome the V.PARK Ennery logistics platform, an exemplary project that symbolises innovation, energy transition and sustainable development. This development, which is the fruit of an ambitious collaboration with the Rives de Moselle Community of Communes, is an essential vector of economic dynamism and job creation for our region’.
An innovative, sustainable project in line with VIRTUO’s commitments
VIRTUO, a company with a mission specialising in responsible and innovative logistics real estate, is continuing its commitment to sustainable development with this project. The 26,525 sq. metre V.PARK Ennery will be designed to high environmental standards, aiming for BREEAM Excellent certification. This single-face building will include three storage cells, an office block, 25 docking stations, two level ramps and a car park with 150 LV spaces. In addition, space will remain available for rental, starting at 6,000 sq.m, offering flexibility to meet the needs of future occupiers.
Grégory BLOUIN, President of VIRTUO Industrial Property.
‘At Virtuo, we have made innovation and sustainable development the pillars of our commitment as société à mission. The planting of this first tree at V.PARK Ennery perfectly embodies our vision of responsible, high-performance logistics real estate that respects the environment.
We are committed to a responsible construction approach and to preserving local biodiversity through careful landscaping. Located at the heart of the Eurotransit hub, this project illustrates our expertise in designing next-generation platforms that combine operational requirements with environmental excellence. With BREEAM Excellent certification and a low-carbon approach, V.PARK Ennery is a model of what the logistics of the future should be: more sustainable, more innovative and better integrated into its local area.
We are also proud to be supporting local economic development by welcoming the STOCKLOR group. This project is the fruit of close collaboration with our elected representatives and partners, to whom I would like to extend my warmest thanks.”
A new location for the STOCKLOR group
Specialising in global logistics solutions, STOCKLOR will occupy part of the site, i.e. around 10,850 sq.m. An ISO 9001-certified French company, STOCKLOR provides optimised management of the entire supply chain, from reception, storage and order preparation to quality control, packaging design and production, and transport. This development reflects STOCKLOR’s growth in the Grand Est region. The platform is scheduled to be operational in September 2025.
Gérard Blanchet, President of Stocklor.
‘I would like to highlight the excellent collaboration between STOCKLOR and VIRTUO. We were able to establish a relationship of trust, which was essential for the realisation of this project. Thanks to this cooperation, we have been able to make a major investment that will help to create jobs and develop our logistics business. This operation marks a major step forward for STOCKLOR, a fast growing family business, and will enable us to strengthen our position as one of the national leaders in the sector, while at the same time opening up new economic opportunities in the region. Many thanks to the VIRTUO teams for their professionalism and their exceptional partnership.”
