VIRTUO INAUGURATES V.PARK CHÂTEAUDUN, A NEW GENERATION 24,000 M² LOGISTICS HUB DEVELOPED FOR ALLTRICKS ON THE LA BRUYÈRE BUSINESS PARK IN CHÂTEAUDUN (28).
On 9 February, Grégory BLOUIN, President of VIRTUO INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY and his teams, Fabien VERDIER, as President of the Communauté de Communes du Grand Châteaudun and Mayor of Châteaudun, Nicolas BURGER and Stéphane ROSI, co-CEOs of ALLTRICKS, inaugurated the new distribution platform of the e-commerce retailer specialising in cycling, running and outdoor goods, which was founded in 2008.
This turnkey building, which was delivered in August 2023 as part of an eco-sustainable approach, is now standing on the Parc d’Activités de la Bruyère, in Châteaudun, in the Centre Val de Loire region. Developed by VIRTUO INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY, a specialist in responsible and innovative logistics real estate, this major project, located 50 km from Orléans, was developed to meet the French and international growth needs of ALLTRICKS, a company specialised in the retail of cycling, running and outdoor equipment. The platform is aiming for BREEAM Excellent certification and the Biodivercity® label.
A logistics building as an expression of operational excellence
Composed of two cells measuring 12,000 sqm and 13 m high, the building, which has been operational since mid-November, employs more than 135 people every day to receive, check, store, prepare and dispatch the pure-player’s orders. “Since 2008, ALLTRICKS has continued to invest in its operational excellence, and this moment is a testament to our investment. This building is much more than a warehouse, it’s the heartbeat of our supply chain. Behind it are hours of meticulous work, from design to completion. We’d like to say a warm thank you to the VIRTUO teams for their operational excellence, their flexibility and the excellent collaboration we’ve enjoyed. Finally, we are very proud to be able to aim for BREEAM Excellent certification and to invest with the ambition of minimising our carbon impact and offering our employees better working conditions”, said Nicolas Burger, co-CEO of ALLTRICKS.

A reason of being illustrated by a virtuous, high-performance project
For VIRTUO, “société à mission” since 2023 whose ambition is to design turnkey solutions encouraging chosen logistics, limiting the impact on the environment and supporting the local economy, this project is perfectly in line with its reason for being. Each of the site’s features has been designed with sustainability and performance in mind: the installation of heat pumps powered by low-carbon, renewable energy, solar panels on the roof of the building to supply electricity and heating needs, the installation of beehives, extensive landscaping and the limitation of soil artificialisation are among the site’s specific features. “Through this project, we have succeeded in satisfying the needs of our customer, ALLTRICKS, while respecting our reason of being and supporting the local economy, thanks to the support of Fabien Verdier, President of the Communauté de Communes du Grand Châteaudun and Mayor of Châteaudun”, concludes Grégory Blouin, President of VIRTUO INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY.
