In Q4 2020, VIRTUO successfully delivered a 10,000 m2 three-temperature platform to the PRET A MANGER group, on the former BA 217 military airbase in the town of Le Plessis Pâté, Essonne (91). The first pallets should arrive mid-November, as soon as the racks are installed. This new, state-of-the-art building, will benefit from a BREEAM very good environmental certification.
The building is composed of a negative cold cell (-25°C) of about 1500 m2, two positive cold cells (+2 -4°C), one of 800 m2 and the other of 1000 m2 and two room temperature cells of 1000 m2 and 2500 m2 each. These cells will be used for the storage of groceries, which will serve all the group’s points of sale. ” The delivery of this warehouse is a huge milestone for PRET A MANGER. It was a big undertaking and the teams from VIRTUO were able to complete it within the agreed timeframe, while dealing with difficult exceptional circumstances.
