As an architect of transport and logistics projects, TEMPO ONE, through its subsidiary TEMPO LOG NORD, is setting up in V. PARK BULLY 1 (62) DEVELOPED BY VIRTUO INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY.
VIRTUO INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY, an independent company specialised in sustainable and innovative logistics property, welcomes TEMPO ONE, a supply chain specialist, to its V.PARK Bully 1 in Bully-les-Mines (62). The lease covers an area of 12,000 sqm on behalf of a major player in the automotive industry.
Tempo one is an independent, family-run group specialising in the supply chain. Its approach is to position itself as an architect of transport and logistics projects, designing tailor-made solutions for the supply chain as a whole or for individual business lines.
Tempo one comprises 17 subsidiaries divided into four business families:
- Road transport
- Warehousing logistics
- Air and sea freight
- Customs duties
With a turnover of 230 million euros in 2023, the group has almost 50 sites in mainland France, the French overseas territories, Europe, Asia and North America, employing around 700 people.
TEMPO ONE currently has over 170,000 sqm of logistics space and 12 warehouses in France, Belgium and Spain. As part of its strategic plan, the group is moving into V.PARK Bully 1 in Bully-les-Mines (62), a 12,000 sqm warehouse illustrating its commitment to innovation, agility and adaptability while strengthening its geographical proximity.
Tempo one is already present in northern France through its 2 subsidiaries, GTRA and PROLINAIR, based in Lille and specialising in road transport and overseas transport respectively.
Grégory BLOUIN, President and founder of Virtuo Industrial Property, commented:
“We are delighted with this first collaboration with the TEMPO ONE group and happy to continue to be a contributor to the region, particularly by creating the right conditions for new activities and jobs to be set up.”
A strategic logistics location for expanding in France
TEMPO ONE was looking for a logistics space of around 10,000 sqm to provide its services for its customer, a specialist in spare parts for the automotive industry. The company chose V.PARK Bully 1, a strategic location in the immediate proximity of the major ports of the Hauts de France region (Calais / Dunkirk / Boulogne), with access to the UK and Northern Europe. As a result, every day freight flows in containers will be transported by sea to Antwerp and then by land to Bully-les-Mines, ultimately serving the whole of France.
The asset, part of the Olympe Portfolio, has been owned by AXA IM Alts since January 2024. VIRTUO INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY was advised in this transaction by BNP Paribas Real Estate.
